"ARMHITEC 2018" The Second International Exhibition of Armament and Defense Technologies

The Second International Exhibition of Armament and Defense Technologies ''ArmHiTec 2018'' was held on March 29-31 at the ''Yerevan Expo'' Exhibition Center situated in Yerevan.

The purpose of the exhibition was to show the achievements of Armenian organizations in the field of armament, defense technologies, to become an effective platform for dialogue between the military, scientific and business circles of the participating countries, as well as to promote further expansion for international cooperation.

On the territory of ''Yerevan Expo'' exhibition center which is an area of ​​more than 1500 m2, the latest samples of weapons and military products were exhibited as well as means of communication, optoelectronic equipment, robotic systems, etc.

30 Armenian and more than 30 foreign organizations from 14 countries, including Russia, Italy, France, China, India, Croatia, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Bulgaria and others, took part in the exhibition with their pavilions.

With the aim of participation in business events, government delegations from more than 10 countries of the world arrived at the exhibition. The CSTO delegation also took part in thоse events.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Armenia S. Sargsyan, RA Defense Minister V. Sargsyan, CSTO Deputy Secretary General V. Semerikov, and Chairman of the CSTO․
